Learning has never been separate from work.

It has always lived in how people think, speak, decide, and respond to one another.

But for years, organisations have treated learning as something that happens somewhere else.

In programmes.
In workshops.
Away from the work itself.

And yet behaviour rarely changes in those moments alone.

Every organisation already has a learning system.

It lives in conversations.
In leadership behaviour.
In decision-making.
In how mistakes are handled.
In what is rewarded — or ignored.

Most of it was never designed. Which means organisations are always teaching something - whether they mean to or not.

HUMAN learning at work grew out of this realisation. The question is no longer how to deliver better learning. It is how learning actually happens here.

HUMAN learning at work is a learning practice.

We work with leaders, teams, and organisations to understand how learning happens in real work — and to shape the conditions where it can thrive.

This work focuses on leadership, teams, and learning in everyday work. Not as separate interventions, but as parts of a single system.

The work is supported by a trusted network of senior leaders, organisational practitioners, and facilitators. Different challenges require different perspectives.

We bring those perspectives into the work where they matter.

HUMAN learning at work was founded by Michael, combining senior leadership experience with over 20 years working inside learning organisations.

That experience has been shaped less by theory - and more by time spent inside organisations where the gap between learning and behaviour is most visible.

Learning is already happening.

The opportunity is to notice it — and shape it intentionally

HUMAN learning at work exists because learning doesn’t belong to programmes or departments.

It lives in how people respond to uncertainty, challenge, and pressure.

In today’s fast-moving world, learning can’t be passive. It must be felt, shared, and lived. That’s why Human Learning at Work was formed — built on the belief that real learning happens in connection, not in content. We blend neuroscience with the realities of modern work to create experiences that don’t just inform — they transform. The result? Leaders who grow, teams who connect, and organisations that move forward with confidence.

We believe knowledge alone isn’t enough. Real change happens when leaders and teams move from knowing to doing, from insight to impact. That’s where we come in — translating learning into simple, sticky, and social experiences. Because when people feel connected, curious, and confident, they don’t just learn — they lead, they grow, they transform. We understand leaders don’t need to have all the answers. The most powerful leaders are learners — curious, open, and willing to explore.

We create spaces where they can reflect, experiment, and model that same curiosity for their teams. Because learning doesn’t just happen in classrooms — it happens in the flow of work. In a quick conversation. A moment of feedback. A new habit tested in real time. We design learning that lives in those moments — where real growth happens.

We’re not here to deliver content. We’re here to be a mirror and a guide. Leaders are already asking the hard questions: “How do I lead with clarity?” “How do I navigate change with courage?” “How do I create purpose that’s felt, not just spoken?” Our role is to help them find answers — through experiences that shift behaviour, spark reflection, and build capability.

Human Learning at Work exists to unlock potential — not just through knowledge, but through action. We help organisations build cultures where learning is alive, leaders are learning, and teams are learning together. Because when learning is human, work becomes better. This belief isn’t abstract — it’s shaped by two decades of hands-on leadership and award-winning design across industries and backed by advanced study into how humans learn and change.
